Training for Residents

Nurses and other healthcare providers who have recently entered the workforce or new specialties benefit from the hospital’s superb simulation resources through educational and training partnerships with area hospitals. The nurse residency program is a series of training modules that allows participants to practice with their colleagues on a robust cohort of high-tech patient simulators, complete with respirations and vital signs, to replicate an array of chronic and acute health conditions to be addressed in real time. The “patients,” in turn, respond to the residents’ interventions—for better or worse.
